The U.S. Treasury Department auctioned the following Treasury securities today.
30-year bond (912810QD3): $16 billion (last original issue (August 09) $15 billion)
- Primary Dealer: $7.01 billion
- Indirect Bidder: $7.03 billion
- Indirect Bidder Percentage: 43.9% (August issue 48%)
- Bid to Cover Ratio: 2.26 (August issue 2.54)
- Interest Rate: 4.375% (August issue 4.500%)
- High Yield: 4.469% (allotted at high: 18.01%) (August issue high yield: 4.541% )
In addition, SOMA* purchased $1.99 billion 30-year bond.
